• Master’s Degree in relevant subject with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) from Indian/foreign university.
• Must have NET / SLET / SET qualification (UGC/CSIR or equivalent).
• Exemption: Ph.D. holders (as per UGC norms) are exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
• Relaxation: 5% marks relaxation for SC / ST / OBC / PH candidates.

Fine Arts, Music & Performing Arts:

• Master’s Degree in relevant subject with 55% marks.
• NET / SLET / SET required (unless exempted with Ph.D.).
• Alternative qualifications (for Performing Arts / Painting):
• B. Grade Artist of AIR/Doordarshan, OR
• Strong practical knowledge with ability to explain the subject.
